Dr. Foster is Professor and Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Dr. Foster’s group at UBC develops and applies quantitative proteomic methods to study host-pathogen interactions in a variety of systems. He will provide valuable guidance on the protein characterization components of PROGENITER to ensure that quality control
issues associated with antigen and antibody production are properly addressed, and that quantitation of antigen-receptor interactions and protein and ligand identification by mass spectrometry are carried out using state-of-the-art methods.
