Khanh Dao Duc

Dr. Dao Duc is an Assistant Professor of mathematics at UBC and holds affiliated memberships with the Computer Science and Zoology departments. Dr. Dao Duc leads an interdisciplinary research program that trains students in applied mathematics and computer science to develop structural, molecular and
cell biology methods. Importantly, this work involves the development of algorithms, database and visualization software, and automated pipelines for cryo-EM and image analysis, using advanced linear metrics and machine learning methods to process EM data and study conformational heterogeneity. He
brings valuable expertise to supervise HQP in processing cryo-EM data and implementing algorithms and computational tools to be developed and deployed in the cryo-EM suite.
