Dr. Subramaniam is the Director of PROGENITER and is globally recognized for his leading contributions to cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM). He is a Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, in the Faculty of Medicine at The University of British Columbia, Canada Excellence Research Chair in Precision Cancer Drug Design and Founder and CEO of Gandeeva Therapeutics.
Dr. Subramaniam’s decades-long experience in working with the structural biology of HIV-1, influenza, and Ebola, coupled with his longstanding experience in pioneering development and application of cryo-EM technology, as well as his role in founding Gandeeva Therapeutics and leading its AI-driven cryo-EM platform make him ideally suited to lead all elements of the project.
