Dr. Pantophlet is a Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences. He is at the helm of the Laboratory of Infectious Diseases Immunology and concurrently shoulders responsibilities as the Head of the Flow Cytometry Lab and Scientific Director of SFU’s Containment Level 3 Laboratory (BIO3 Lab). Dr. Pantophlet’s cumulative experiences in HIV-1, flu, and SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibody research provide an excellent background to his leading the effort to evaluate the neutralizing activity of antibodies generated at PROGENITER.
