Dr. Bach is a Clinical Assistant Professor affiliated with the Division of Infectious Diseases, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columba. He is the founder and director of the Antibody Engineering and Proteomics Facility at the Immunity and Infection Research Centre (Jack Bell Research Centre, Vancouver). He has developed neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 that were validated at the BCL-3 at FINDER, UBC, and developed state-of-the-art delivery systems to target intracellular pathogens combined with in-house produced metal nanoparticles with antimicrobial activities. The proprietary library of human derived single-chain antibodies Dr. Bach has developed will be essential for the screening experiments to identify antibodies and a key part of the formulation for needle-free delivery studies caried by Dr. Li.
